Merry Christmas

fewer and farther between, but I'm still here!

This whole entire month has been very hectic. Angi and I have done nothing for the past three weeks but prepare for our Halloween costume party, which has just topped 30 guests! But what the hell, it's going to be a blast. We have a live band (in our apartment!) and fog machines, tons of decorations, a bartender, and the list go on and on and on. I did manage to find a couple of moments of Zen in all the chaos. When I did they were literally 2 or 3 seconds long, my mind went blank and "soft". It is really hard to explain adequately, but in that 3 seconds of Zen it occurred to me it wasn't the amount of time that mattered. It was just the simple process of complete blankness that made the entire day perfect. Easy and laid back. I sighed a deep sigh and smiled and my brain "clicked back on" but in such a calm way that my driving slowed (yes I was driving at the time), I leaned back a bit more and just drove on. Ah, for more moments such as that.

time flies...

Wow, it's been almost a month since I updated. I use myspace so much now that I sometimes forget about this! oops...anyway, so much has happened in the past 4 weeks. Oz oved back to Texas, Robert is still in Miami (supposed to be home sometime this week though), Melanie and Patrick kissed at Liz's party, Angi and I got in a shitload of trouble with City of Roswell (along with Anthony!), Sean and Kyle took a tractor for a few hours, I had to testify in court against the murderer again, Angi and I had some great soul food in the ghetto, Little B (Brian) got a new job, Big B (Brian G)got a new job, I am in the middle of buying a house, Charlotte said "hi" (I swear she did even though she is only 5 months old!), and that is all I can think of right now. I know there is more but my brain hurts right now. I am tired. But happy!!!!

Jalabasco

I cross-bred a pepper...I am awesome!!! But seriously...I made a cross breed between a jalapeno and a tabasco! What happened was my tabasco pepper took all the heat from the jalapeno pepper...leaving the jalapeno sweet and the tabasco the hottest pepper on the planet! No joke, everyone who has tried it can only take one bite! And then they spit even THAT out. And I mean these are people who LOVE hot stuff. So Angi and I take one and cut it into little pieces and put it into our salsa...that's all it takes to fire it up. I am so proud of myself. Now I have to find someone to buy it. Then I will start growing lots more...

Long time, right?

So I am sitting here with my sister/roommate Angi, at Oz's house. Wow I haven't really slept since Wed. night and I am wondering how on earth it is possible I am still among the living with no chemical stimulation. I guess just the pure will to keep going. But damn I am starting to get tired. Anyway, the real reason I am posting is because I haven't in almost a month, and I like to try to keep up with it...even if it is only once a month or so. That way it seems like I am keeping up with my own life, even if I'm really not. Life lately seems to be getting away from me, escaping even. How is that happening? Is it just because I am getting older or is time really moving more quickly? Or maybe it is a combination of the two. Oh well...I am relly happy lately, and things are as they should be. Even when they are a bit chaotic. At least everyone knows I thrive on a little chaos now and then. On that note, I am going to close this rambling bit of nothing and say goodbye. I need to go finish my beer. It is getting warm and that makes me gag.

man...so what's up with me? New baby, new family (I love my puerto ricans!), great friends...so what else could I ask for? well...not too much. but hey, check out myspace. I've been doing it for sometime...don't really know why I am just getting around to posting it...I will also get some pictures of the new baby up soon...and the new fam! Junior's (Angel) pic is alrady up-working on the rest...They really are the greatest family. Anyway...
