blah...

I have an ultrasound in a week (next Friday) to make sure nothing's wrong! Or to see what is wrong! how pessimistic should I be here? My nature is to be optimistic so I will remain that way until further notice. :-)

relaxation

So last night I came home, and Jason was there walking Tia...he made me dinner while I took a bath and relaxed. It was so AWESOME to have someone actually doing something for me for a change. I do and do and do for other people all day and then have to go home and do everything for myself. It was great to be able to just sit back and let someoen else do it all!

Blue Skies

I took Kathryn on a picnic today. It was her first "real" picnic, complete with a picnic basket and big quilt. I packed turkey sandwiches, apples, carrots, pretzels and water and we went to a big open field with green lush grass, and enjoyed our lunch. The thing I noticed most (besides the beautiful day and the clear skies) was that sandwiches seem to taste better when eaten outdoors than when all cooped up indoors.

Brer Rabbit and Friends

I went to the Center for Puppetry Arts today and saw Brer Rabbit and Friends. They had a guy play the banjo, a chic playing a washtub bass, and a guy playing the piano...they all sang when they weren't busy doing their part of the puppet show. It was pretty neat. The puppets were amazing. Also we did a create-a-puppet workshop and made our own puppets. It really was a lot of fun.
