Roomy

I have a new roommate (Angi). She moved in over the weekend and so far so good. I really like her and we get along great and have lots in common. I hope it continues that way. I love living alone, but I also love having people around me a lot. So this may help with both. Our work schedule is different enough to allow us each three hours of "alone" time. Her in the morning, me at night. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Travels with Charley

I am currently reading Travels with Charley. I highly recommend it for anyone who has the same lust for travel that I do. It is one of those books that I can "feel" exaclty what the author, who is by the way John Steinbeck, is feeling. That indescribable feeling that you can only get when embarking on a new journey. From the planning of the trip to the trip itself. The things you see, hear, taste, and do. It all comes together to make one perfect experience.

Zoo

Wow! It's been almost a month since I've written anything. My life has been that hectic. It will finally slow down some after tomorrow.I am throwing a bridal shower then Sunday is R & R for me! I took Zoë and Kathryn to The Zoo today. It was fun. My favorite part was watching the elephant, Starlette, get her bath. We were in the same room as she and very close. She LOVED getting scrubbed down too. She was down on one knee and her eyes were closed. Every once in a while she would stick her trunk over the bars. Kathryn's favorite was the panda's and Zoë's favorite was the reptile house. We were there about three hours. Great excercise! Each girl got a souvenir cup and fake snakes. Well that is all I have time for now. I just wanted to log some time since it's been so long! Next week I will have more time for myself. Yay!
